Terms of Use and Legal Notice
Who operates this site, what a quote request is and is not, and the rules for using the site, in plain words.
In plain words
A quote request is not a contract. Nothing is charged on this site.
We are a Honda dealership of Groupe Olivier, not Honda Canada.
Using this site
These terms govern the use of the garantiehonda.com site. The site gives general information about the Honda Plus extended warranty and takes quote requests. This information is not legal or financial advice.
When you use the site, we ask you:
- to give accurate information in the form, including the model year, kilometres and model of your vehicle;
- not to use automated tools to send requests or to copy the site; and
- not to disrupt the site or try to reach parts of it that are not meant for you.
You may read and print the content of the site for your own use. Links to other sites, such as those of the Office de la protection du consommateur or the Commission d’accès à l’information, lead to content we do not control. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Who operates this site, Honda and Honda Plus
Garantie Honda by Groupe Olivier is operated by Qualité Performance Magog inc., doing business as Magog Honda, 2400 rue Sherbrooke, Magog, Quebec J1X 4E6. Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) 1176794783. Office de la protection du consommateur road vehicle merchant permit no. 2108878-1. Email: [email protected].
Magog Honda is a Honda dealership of Groupe Olivier. This site is not operated by Honda Canada Inc. Honda Plus is the extended warranty presented by Honda Canada on its website and available through Honda dealers. Honda and Honda Plus are trademarks of their owner. The site does not use Honda’s logo.
Coverage, exclusions and limits are set out in the service contract (Honda calls it the Service Provision). This does not reduce the warranties provided by law.
Your quote request
Your quote request commits you to nothing. It is neither a contract nor a payment, and nothing is charged on this site. An advisor then contacts you by phone. Before anything is concluded, the advisor gives you all the information required by law, and you can accept, refuse or correct the proposal. You then receive a written copy of the contract within 15 days.
A request does not confirm that your vehicle is eligible either: the advisor checks that with you.
The price in your quote includes all mandatory fees. In Quebec, only GST and QST are added. You can ask to see the Service Provision before you buy.
To compare two Honda Plus quotes, check the term, the kilometres, the benefits, the mandatory fees included, the date and the service contract. See how to compare quotes.
Your right to cancel
In Quebec, you may cancel (rescind) your extended warranty contract at your discretion, at no cost or penalty, within 10 days after it is concluded, by sending written notice to the merchant or its representative. The contract ends as soon as the notice is sent, and the merchant must refund the amount received as soon as possible. This period becomes one year if the merchant did not give you the warranty information that the law requires (Consumer Protection Act, s. 228.3).
Send your notice to [email protected] or to Magog Honda, 2400 rue Sherbrooke, Magog, Quebec J1X 4E6.
Honda also states that a plan can be cancelled for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, through the Honda dealer. This term is in addition to your 10-day legal right.
Before you decide, read the notice concerning legal warranties. For claims and transfers, see the claims, transfer and cancellation page.
Accuracy of the information
The Honda Plus contract sets out the plan’s terms, limits and exclusions. Ask your advisor to explain them before you commit. This site covers only some of them. If you notice a difference between this site and your contract, tell us: what we state here binds us, as the Consumer Protection Act provides.
The date of the last verification appears at the bottom of every page. If you notice an error, write to us at [email protected].
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. That is a goal: we do not promise that every page meets it.
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, write to [email protected] or use our contact page, and an advisor will contact you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Your consumer rights remain intact: among other things, you may go to the court of your domicile or residence. If you live outside Quebec, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence may also apply. Nothing on this site requires you to use arbitration or limits your right to take part in a class action.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these site terms. The date appears on this page. An update does not change a contract already concluded or a quote already given, and does not reduce any of your rights.
A question about these terms? Write to [email protected] or use our contact page.
